Remembrance Day.

Today is a day to reflect upon our troops from wars past and present. My father is a Canadian war vet who landed on D-Day as part of the Ottawa Regiment, the Cameron Highlanders. He is one of a handful of men still alive from that day. Couvrette’s have fought in every Canadian battle since the War of 1812.
Like many Canadians, I question the value of what we are doing in Afghanistan, but support our troops without exception. A recent poll indicated that over 80% of my fellow Canadians agree. Perhaps it is time for Mr Harper to say we have done enough and let history take its course in that far off land.
