Our staff photographer Lorien`s first wedding of the year captured at the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa…one of our fave locations.
We shot this in Toronto for a major Family Law firm that wanted strong portraits and some creative shots of their new office to rebuild their website.
Here is a small selection from a chilly day a few weeks ago…
Thanks to a brave couple and a fun wedding party for working with us on this shoot. Minus 30 still doesn`t beat our record of minus 52, but it still makes me shiver to think about that last shot and a brave bride. I may get feeling back in my fingers by June…lol
We tend to photograph a lot of military people. Given our location in downtown Ottawa, I guess that is no surprise.
My family have been involved with the military since 1655 when we came to Canada as part of the first Regiment from France and ending with my Dad landing on D-Day. It`s always a joy to chat with people serving our country in war and in peace.
We shot these for a feature on the US Ambassador, his wife Vicki and their great work promoting noted US artists. The shoot was a combo of portraiture and architectural. The feature is running in the current edition of Ottawa Life Magazine.
These are from a recent shoot with Internationally famous musician Diane White. She came in for a couple of new website shots and we just started to improv with some notions as drop ins for such things as her contact page and movie credits page. Images are what makes the web go round and what gets people to buy what you are selling…
We shoot a wide range of portraits from traditional to ultra modern. This is a more classic style and was used to announce the gentleman`s appointment as the top civil servant at DND. We do a lot of this type of work because we have a large centrally located facility and deliver the product on time and on budget since we are a fulltime fully staffed studio.
